You're more than welcome. We've got about half the folks checked off the list. We have to stick together when things like this happen.
I'm glad most of the Houston area was relatively untouched.
Prayers for those who were in Rita's path and are trying to get their lives back in order.
Glad to hear it was uneventful. That's the best possible outcome (except for a little more rain)
My brother and his family are fine. Thanks!
Thanks for checking in Mike.
Yer doing a heck of a job here and don't think that it ain't appreciated!
Thanks!
Gotta ping Howlin too.
You done us Texans right!
Thanks Eaker, we've only got a page and a half to go.
Amen to that. It's good to know that y'all care about us as much as we care about you.
BTW, The way you and humblegunner get along... that's just classic "funny as hell!"
LOL!
I have been dealing with other tasks and have not been attentive.
Do you have a specific list of those unaccounted for?
Saw your post on the President Pics thread...
I haven't checked in...but I am sure by now, someone in the DFW area has informed everyone that not only are we okay here...but we are still DRY!!!
BUT, dry is good if it means that our southern Texans and Louisianans are a-okay!!!
Squantos and I thought that we were twins.
We found out that we are triplets and Mom didn't take the ugly one down to the Wal-Mart to get our pictures taken.
That was humble.
Check Squantos' home page for our glamour shot!
PS: I have a watch!
This is my damage assessment....yes we dodged a bullet, but I sent this to my insurance agent and FEMA.....just in case they are handing out ATM cards...../sarcasm
It is actual damage.....think of the tree and all its suffering....The local news would have used it had I moved it to the curb and provided at least a running water hose and fan to blow their hair....

Well that damage looks like it would be worth one of those $2,000 credit cards at the very least!
cb is that you? Yep...cb in Katy...TX....
Ya know...its sad when one has to water the lawn the day after a hurricane!!!!
I decided not to evacuate from Corpus after the predicted storm track moved further north on Thursday.
FEMA...where's my water? My lawn is stressed! Where's Jesse when I need him?
To the many that have suffered...my humor is directed at me...not you. My prayers are with you....
