Checking in. Yawwwwwwwn. Nothing here but a lot of pine needles on the ground, some branches, and maybe a half inch of rain -- but I doubt we even got that much.

I'm glad most of the Houston area was relatively untouched.

Prayers for those who were in Rita's path and are trying to get their lives back in order.

I haven't checked in...but I am sure by now, someone in the DFW area has informed everyone that not only are we okay here...but we are still DRY!!!

BUT, dry is good if it means that our southern Texans and Louisianans are a-okay!!!

We found out that we are triplets and Mom didn't take the ugly one down to the Wal-Mart to get our pictures taken.

That was humble.

This is my damage assessment....yes we dodged a bullet, but I sent this to my insurance agent and FEMA.....just in case they are handing out ATM cards...../sarcasm

It is actual damage.....think of the tree and all its suffering....The local news would have used it had I moved it to the curb and provided at least a running water hose and fan to blow their hair....
