It does matter. Some people are upset with good reason on this thread and it is good she is almost there(((Hugs)))
better than in a car on the road? guess it also depends on your location in the city.
come on up to Midland, we have room. Freepmail me if you need a place to stay.
That's why I said SOME parts of Houston are safe from the STORM SURGE. Not all areas (especially those East of I-45 and the Beltway up to I-10). And other areas are not necessarily safe from ancillary flooding or wind damage. But I'd rather be in my house than trapped in a broken down car on an Interstate during a hurricane.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You little sneak you! ;)
Well...if I was going to vertical evac, I'd be camped out in the elevator/utility core...and definitely not (as of the projected track now), on the north or east side of the building...but letting the wind take what it can is better than handing it the ammunition...right?

The contrast is so stark it should be obvious even to a blind man. And yet so many will continue to believe all the lies and demagoguery. They have no logic or any capacity for reasoning whatsoever, only primal and emotional buttons that are pushed at will by the MSM.
LOL!
And I'm good at it too! LOL
Ok now how did you do that? LOL
Hmm, barely no smell now

Diddle E., you really DO need to relax sometimes.
It's not possible to move 3 million people out of a metropolitan area in 36 hours over six major arteries. Brit Hume pointed this out, strongly, to Mort Kondracke tonight, who was frantic, like you.
I chuckle everytime I hear "weakened to a Cat 4". It sounds like "the sun is coming out".
....well....it has beena bit....gusty....since he....fell....
