(Roe v. Wade and Endangered Species Act both passed in 1973, Murder Babies/save trees, birds, algae)
I've visited Border's, Barnes and Noble, Walmart, and Sam's Club. I have called several other book stores. Nobody has this book. I'm looking in Colorado Springs, so I don't think the politics of the bookstore managers is a problem.
I also noticed that Amazon says this book has not yet been released, and the customer reviews no longer show up, yet the release date is shown as Sep. 20th.
Has anyone here actually bought and received this book?

The conservative response: write a funnier, better book in response. I just found this discussion today, but your comment caught my eye. I do think that we conservatives would be flipping out if a book like this were written for children. Actually, conservatives HAVE flipped out over many books that we haven't liked that were written for children. And haven't some conservatives tried to get the liberal children's books out of school libraries?
As far as I'm concerned, though, it's a free market and if you can find a publisher and you can sell it, all the more to you!
I am thrilled that this book is out there for kids. I can't wait to get a copy of it.
