Whinning liberals. I do not recall these "short sited" mistake occuring in Mississippi. And with the new storm in The Key's I doubt everyone will wait for Daddy Warbucks to tell them when to leave.
And now we will reward everyone, including the political THUGS, with $$$. Open up your wallet and bend over. BOHIKA.

Good Theatre, and I thought Russert was in the news business. He is. This is the just the "un-named source" twice removed.

Turn it off! Bad acting makes me ill.

Hopefully, at some point, Fox News will run the original story and correct it just so make certain it doesn't get swept under the rug. You can bet none of the other news networks will try to correct it.

Does Russert do ANY basic research before having a guest? Only if they're Republicans, I guess.
PS - isn't Broussard the guy under indictment for something?

I guess NBC wasn't terribly interested in facts, seeing how they were in the middle of another idiotic and hysterical anti-Bush lather.
Why anyone watches this garbage, I'll never know.
To: Reagan Man
As red as the guy's face is, it looks like he spends most of his time being a leftist crybaby.

The major networks got out of the news business the moment they began allowing their nightly broadcasts to be measured by the Nielsen surveys.
They've been on a collision course with the supermarket tabloids ever since.

I was only listening to him, not watching, and knew this was a 'too cute by half' story.
And he snowed little Timmy.

Male text reader on Fox let Leon Paneta get away with how great FEMA was under the Klintoon. He could have countered in an instant by asking about the 1,000 poor and mostly Blacks that Clinton, Dewitt and Mayor Daley let die in the July. 1995 Chicago heat wave. Then let the bodies go unclaimed, stuffed them into pine boxes and buried in mass graves.
MSM, left and right all march to the same tune, follow the bleating and blathering alphabets and LA/NY Slimes leads.

More poor people died in Chicago's Heat Wave of 1995 than died in all of Louisiana as a result of Hurricane Katrina. I'm doing my part to get this fact circulated.

Do you remember who broke this story?
I saw it at least a week or more on FR.

Russert should publically apologize,he had to know this was a total fraud before the interview and using the title " Mr. President" was a blatant misleading and intentional attempt to mislead the audience.Russert should have known this Liar was under indictment, that ther was no telephone service in those days. This should be Russert's Memogate, blatant lies in the eye of a National Emergency to damage Our President and Our National Image in the World.

Yeah...it's mystery theater.

Subsequent reporting identified the man whom Broussard was referring to in the Meet the Press interview as Thomas Rodrigue, the Jefferson Parish emergency services director. Gee...I guess it's not even who you know.

Tim Russert would never aid and abet a LIE, would he?

I thought Russert was in the news business.
He never fooled me.
And, it all depends upon what the meaning of "news" is.
