When a church stops believing that preaching the Gospel is their primary mission, they have WAY too much time left over for other distractions.

One would imagine the Ayatollahs in Iran, and Saddam Hussein's henchmen abroad both made major donations recently.
Must have been really big ones too, to get these guys to sell out their countries ~ or, maybe not so big if they went into the right pockets.

Winning hearts and minds is absolutely fundamental in countering terrorism, they say. States must address the long-standing grievances of the terrorists and even, perhaps, offer them economic support.
That's right. Give them economic support and they'll turn around and kill you and your families and your church with it. What a bunch of asinine ignoramuses. SIGH ... sadly, I've got a bunch of idiot Bishops in my denomination, too. Why is it that the chief requirement for being elected Bishop these days seems to be the removal of one's brain and the zeroing out of one's faith?

The bishops plead for understanding of Irans nuclear ambitions. The public and political rhetoric that Iran is a rogue regime, an outpost of tyranny, is as fallacious as the Iranian description of the US as the Great Satan. Irans relationship with Islamic terrorist organisations should not be seen as proof of any al-Qaeda link.
Ignore that man behind the curtain! There is a REASON they call us the "Great Satan" ... it's to deflect others from the fact that they SERVE the REAL Satan.

These people think we are deluded?
Excuse me, maybe they should start at home and start thinking about why so many British have abandoned the faith of Jesus Christ.

What weak, self-loathing, submissive men. Too bad they're what passes for church leaders. But we're seeing the main line Protestant denominations in our country follow the same contemptible path.
