What deference? The only deference that Williams and others of MSM show is when a liberal leftist demoncRAT like Blanco, Nagin, clintoons, pelosi, etc. are before the camera.

Good. Go ahead MSM. Express your feelings to the American people. Show us how angry you are. Hehehehehe! Love it.

Brian Williams - just another MSM a-hole with a pretty face. One more reason for NOT watching any of the network evening news shows, or any other of their news shows for that matter.

One these teleprompter readers are through acting angry, they may want to give reporting the news a shot.

Nothing that can't be handled by a rolled-up newspaper to the nose.

I have a lot of friends who just turned the t.v. off during the coverage of Katrina because it was just so depressing. These "Reporters Gone Wild" are going wild with themselves.

NBC's Brian Williams says the lasting legacy of Hurricane Katrina for journalists may be the end of an unusual four-year period of deference to people in power.

What a crock! Deference? Apparently he has never sat in on or watched a Presidential press conference. Or one at the DoD!

Brian Williams is a man full of 1) himself and 2) hate.

Neither of these attributes serve him well as a reporter.

an unusual four-year period of deference

I blinked and missed it. As they say in New Orleans, "Who dat deference?"

Anderson Cooper, "Facts? Facts??? We don't need no steenkin' facts!"

The mute button seemingly in place since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks has been turned off.

Huh? What planet is this guy from?

How long, exactly, was Brian Williams in the Superdome? Did he stay over there, or just pop in and out, using his elite status as a pass? As best I understand he did not stay there long.

LOL, hysterical liberal "reporters" trying to cover their unprofessional behavior by pretending that THEY were the only ones who cared about black people.

They obviously do not even KNOW their own countrymen.

And in other news, Brain Williams was made an honorary American Indian today and was given the name “Running Eagle”. He’s so full of crap he can’t get off the ground.

Yeah! and show us how really stoopid you news readers (opps! JOURNALISTS) really are.
Russert's pencil-necked "rage" just makes him more of the geeky toad he always has been.
You news-reader boys can pretend you're all tough newsmen but we all know you to be blow-dried girly men from the "Infotainment Game".
