If Robbins is cockeyed, so is she... I can't help but notice the irony in a hedonist mourning, what?! I thought that was impossible?
Check your Bible again....it also says if a man doesn't work he doesn't eat. These are losers who have made bad decisions all their lives and now expect, no demand, that working class people foot the bill for their bastard kids and poor health caused by their overeating.
That ole God of Terror thing is not limited to the Islamaniacs.
Suit yourself. It's your soul.
In my view, God had nothing to do with Katrina. But the fact remains that NO was a den of iniquity and it was destroyed and I'm hoping that what is rebuilt is better, but I kinda doubt it. I really think tho that the survivors who have decided not to come back will be better off for it. From all that I've read, those people really were trapped...not only by the storm, but by those who didn't care if they ever made it off of welfare. The poverty pimps had them right where they wanted them, and their votes. I nearly puked when I heard Nagin pleading with some folks to reconsider their decision never to return. Leave them alone mayor, they are gonna do better off your stinking plantation
Aw, but if we couldn't lump all the poor into one bucket, it would be no FUN.
They are my family. I can say anything I want. It's not sterotyping when you know them.
And can you tell a levity and humor when you see it?
I don't believe either scenario. I believe God created weather but does not control it.
Perhaps I should say, I do not believe God uses storms to punish or reward people.
"Did anyone seem to think this article was dripping with condescending, righteous, liberal leaning meaning to make the writer's view seem right."
I would agree
"I have seen this story in other threads and there was indeed hateful terms. I don't think anyone knows what this pastor has been through with this story."
I also saw the other thread and there were indeed hateful terms used. I did not use them and would not but I am critical. That's what I was responding to.
Some would say, and I am one of them, that essentially telling victims of a natural disaster that they are responsible for the event is hateful as well.
It is when you start name calling. I have tough skin and that is why I don't loose my temper. I just find it very childish when you have to resort to name calling to make you feel better if you don't agree with someones point of view.
Amen, Becky.
Thank you. That needed to be said.
