Not that the child knew it, but here's a technique for striking one in the temple and killing him. I'm looking for a coroner's report, not a perp description I'm already aware of.

"Well, it wasn't exactly self-defense"

Are you kidding?

"When the teen arrived home, Zucker said, he ran across the street to his home from his still-idling truck, but he was not fast enough. With the teen's father watching, Munter drove into the youth, authorities said.
The teen, who Zucker said is about 6-foot-6 and 300 pounds, rolled off the hood of Munter's 1999 Mercury Sable, landed on his feet, walked to the driver's side of the car and punched Munter twice in the head."

The kid runs out of his truck - which he left running - to get to his house. As he's running, the guy hits him with his car. The kid rolls off the hood and punches the guy. What would you have him do? Keep running so the guy can keep hitting him with his car until the kid is dead?

When someone exerts physical force against you with a deadly weapon, you have every right to defend your life.

Two shots in the head from an enraged 6'6" 300-pound guy would be curtains for quite a few people.

Self defense, no doubt about it. But how did two punches kill the guy?

One punch in the right place could do it.

praising him as a good student and good citizen.

Unlike Sarah Sylvia Cynthia Stout, this good lad took the garbage out.

Screaming maniac, who tried once already to kill the kid, and still in possession of his weapon, was disarmed. That he died afterwards is T.S.; it clearly wasn't the intent, or the kid would have hit him far more than twice.

The teen, who Zucker said is about 6-foot-6 and 300 pounds...and what; the car is about 16' and 3,000 pounds?

The guy is 6'6 and 300# As for the guy that got punched out, you go looking for trouble, you'll usually be able to find it.

See my post above. Reading repetive obvious statements isn't what I seek.

This could easily have been avoided if the road raging idiot had just called the other driver an idiot and left it at that. Instead he is dead from his own stupid actions. Chlorine in the gene pool.

I would consider it self-defense morally, but legally speaking it's an open question - seeing as how he walked over to the car window.

He was very wise to retain counsel.

I don't see the problem here. Why was the kid arrested. I would have done the same thing as the kid. But I'm only 240lbs. It would have taken me about 5 punches to take this loon out.

In the People's Republic of New Jersey", this is NOT self defense.

The People's Republic requires flight to avoid confrontation.

Since the student was still capable of walking or running away from the lunatic, his actions in punching out the idiot in the car were clearly NOT "self-defense" in the People's Republic.

As a matter of fact, if someone invades your home and threatens youo and your family, they are all oblidged to attempt to flee. Only if cornered and blocked from escape, is the use of force justified.

This is life in the People's Republic.

As for the story of what happened, we really only have one version anyway, since the other actor here is dead.

Just another case of life in the Garbage State and another reason I left it.

By the way, Camden is a cesspool of crime, violence and corruption. It makes Newark look like the Vatican.

6'6" @ 300lbs, football player, that's like being smacked in the head with a sledgehammer.

I definitely would not say that this kid "inadvertantly" cut-off Munter, I'd be willing to bet that he pulled the old "sneak on in front of someone regardless if I cause an accident" move.

Also, Munter was wrong for A) following him and then B) hitting him with his car.

Now the kid is wrong for not just walking away, he had the chance to run into his house.

Involuntary Manslaughter, it's justified by what this article portrays.
