If we weren't at war with Iraq they'd have found them earlier....
oh....no more sarcasm.........
I find this interesting: they stuck together when trouble hit. No looting.
Darn, there I go again.

""These animals found us, they came back after Katrina ... they came home," said
Moby Solangi, president of the Marine Life Oceanarium in Gulfport. "All eight are together. It's the most wonderful news."
I met this guy about 20 years ago, quite a character. He was still running this big place in Gulfport at the big docks, and renting his show to theme parks across the country.

They only showed up after Mike Brown was fired....LOL!
To: Vermonter
That makes me smile. And they found 14 of the Sea Lions as well. Good news, indeed.

Those poor dolphins would die of fright if they saw the land whale, Kennedy.

. . . huddled together in the
fetid waters off Gulfport . . .
fetid = smelly, stinking, offensive odor, rank, etc.
Following storms and such, does the Gulf of Mexico, shrimp and fishing boats excluded, collect and pool smelly, stinky waters?

They've survived for two weeks in the wild. Why not just let them stay there?

...Moby Solangi, president of the Marine Life Oceanarium...Appropriate name for a marine biologist. Is his middle name "Richard"? ;^)
