Well, she has guts, you can say that. Unfortunately not when it counted.I wouldn't call it "guts." I'd call it "unmitigated gall." Chutzpah works too, but not enough people outside NYC grasp the full meaning of the word, so "unmitigated gall" will simply have to do.

I think either FEMA, DHS or Kenyon ought to put out a statement saying they're close to an agreement, but they decided to take 24 hours to think it over.

Doesn't this idiot realize that she in fact is actually responsible?Responsible? Do you really think she cares on iota about her responsibility? She just wanted to be Governor along with the perks. The responsibilities were to be left to others.

Well, Kathie baby, get off your high horse and go find those bodies. You're still governor of the rest of the state with resources the rest of the state can offer.

She can say anything she wants and get away with it from now on.
Bush defined the debate. He took "responsibility". MSM runs free with the quote. Bush checkmated himself.

In light of the events in the past two weeks, I honestly believe the governor and mayor ought to be forced to help in the body recovery.Real justice would involve the both of them doing all of it, by themselves. But, alas, this is neither a just nor perfect world...

It is way past time for an elected Republican official to publically put the blame on Blanco and Nagin!

Governor Blanco meets with staff and complains about lack of body count
To: numberonepal
The dead "deserve more respect than they have received," she said at state police headquarters in Baton Rouge. She said that the Federal Emergency Management Agency still has not signed a contract with the company hired to handle the removal of the bodies, Houston-based Kenyon International Emergency Services.
Now FEMA has to sign a contract to remove her voting base? Who owns the contract to get them to vote Democrap?
