In the world of kung-fu biking
No one is as fast as Lightning
Today it became quite frightning
Because of the lady's poor timing

A 51 year old bike rider with a court appointed lawyer? Was this guy an ex-con?

Maybe he stole the bike. Bikes today are very expensive but not as costly as attorneys.

Bicyclists seem to think they have a special permit from God to terrorize pedestrians (coming up silently from behind at a high speed). I'm glad they got this guy.

How about when you're about to make a right turn after a stop, and there you're pulling out and you notice in the nick of time that a bicyclist has decided to pass you on the right while ignoring the stop? Talk about a near death experience for one or more involved.

Sounds like you should contact your elected officials to outlaw bicycles on your roads.

Or, at least outlaw those bicycles ridden by spandex-clad, volvo-driving twits.

Good idea, several problems. The elected officials are silly liberals and don't listen. They are much more attuned to the spandex-clad, Volvo driving,Latte-drinking girly men than to us country folk. By the way, they are democrats, we normally vote Republican.

I'll bet that the poor lady felt that she was struck by a bolt of Lightning.

A week ago I almost ran over a bicyclist who came roaring around a corner and down the middle of a one-way street ~ THE WRONG WAY.

You got it, he yelled at me!

That’s right. And we all know, of course, that none of those limp-wristed bikers own cars or homes, ever pay gas tax, or any other type of tax. They’re just free loading on you guys in pick-up trucks. You should just open the passenger door as you drive by Gomer.

ROTFLMAO Do you think they'll let him wear orange spandex?

"Lightning" sounds like an Indian name. (I actually used to know a guy named "Thunder".) Anyway, our cyclist is innocent since it sounds like the woman was white. She was probably walking on what was once Indian land, so, our man figures he should be able to ride where ever he wants. At least that is probably what our fake Indian Ward Churchill would say.

That was my thought. What is an "unmarked" crosswalk? Is that another name for an intersection with no crossings?

"What irks me is the tools who insist on riding their bikes on the sidewalk"

What's worse are the ones who ride on a narrow two lane road when there is a bike path 50 feet away. I wonder how many head on colisions these idjits cause from people trying to get around them.

With a screen name like "biblewonk", you sure seem to hate a lot of people. Praying for high gas prices?

The crosswalk is there, but you have to look at the survey plats at the county recorder's office to see where they are.

Firstly, my name is not Gomer. Secondly, although I own a pick-up, I also own two other cars that are not pick-ups.
Thirdly, and this is real important-you don't have one freakin' clue about the twits that use the AUTOMOBILE roads in my county and where most of them come from. Hint: Not my county or my state.

Fact: These people are a menace. There are many bike paths that they could use, some very near, yet they persist on riding on roads that are NOT DESIGNED TO HANDLE BIKE TRAFFIC.

And this final note; We have people in our town that ride bikes, but they are not stupid enough to ride on the county roads, and they are not arrogant enough to imagine that the world revolves around them. Additionally, they don't drive their cars or motorcycles on the bike paths.

Did it seem like the prophet Elijah "hated a lot of people" when he was praying for a drought?
