I think that Kanye West needs to get an education-- do something useful with his life, and stop making idiot comments to the media. He's making himself look bad. That would be "acting white". He complains that black people get treated differently than white people, while demanding that black people get treated differently than white people.

Personally I think anyone using slang of any kind is either uneducated or trying to be something they are not.
So there.

I believe the correct way to use that word is "skraight". Who axed you?

Rented this on DVD the other day.

I think I enjoyed it even more seeing it again thirty years later!

There is no such thing as reverse racism. That term would only make sense if certain races were incapable of racism, so that a new term was needed to describe their behavior. Racism goes whichever a bigot throws it.

I don't white people should use black slang any time.

That was Appalachian white/hillbilly slang long before Con-Yay was ever hatched, M'am.

Actually, a great deal of the Appalachian slang is directly derived from Middle English...sociologically speaking.

And it's President "Boosh", not "Bush", up in the mountains.

*** and CERTAINLY nothing wrong with that picture!*** In my first post (#27), the image didn't appear when I posted (It did in preview), so I had to find a different "Gil" pic from another source.

I've got to agree. White people sound like fools when they use black slang. Come to think of it, the same is true of black people.

if someone hasn't heard about this guy before all of this then they won't be able to guard against him anyway. Besides...guard against what? kanyeeee west? What a joke. His 15 min of fame? I repeat: Worthless thread and I shouldn't even have posted this reply so this is the last one. I'm not gonna waste my time on this kind of drivel from this dupe.
