A radio interview with the Baton Rouge mayor two days ago indicated an interesting twist on the whole episode. He expects around 100,000 people to permanetly resettle in Baton Rouge within two years. They are already drawing up the public transportation and the new roads that will be required. They figure they will be the biggest town in La for at least five years....and perhaps permanently. This leads to alot of speculation about the end result of rebuildling NO...if it is worth the full effort.
