The NFL better get out of bed with MTV, or the gravy train's going to start slowing down.

All the more reason to be glad I lost interest in the NFL a few years ago.
Just let me know when the Super Bowl's on. Even if the game and halftime s*ck, I wouldn't want to miss the commercials.

I "painted it black" last nite during the Stones' performance.
OK, it was Petronski's screen, and he was none too happy with me.

" "This whole planet, everyone, should have free electricity, water and education," he [Santana] said.
We believe the whole planet should have a free copy of "The Essential Santana," listed at $22.99 on amazon.com. "
LOL.

I used to be a big football fan. During the 70s, it didn't get any better than a Steelers-Raiders game. Stabler and Bradshaw. As the NFL moved into the 80s and 90s, it became a came for metrosexual and homosexual girlymen. Most of those knuckleheads get hurt during preseason and spend the regular season walking up and down the sidelines in furcoats and earrings. Too goofy for me. All of the announcers are homo/metrosexual charity pimps. The NFL is a waste of time.
Flame away.

"George Bush doesn't care about black people," West said, which probably was not a smart thing to say to viewers being solicited to make donations. West could assume that a polarizing remark undermines the plea to donate, particularly if the viewer is a supporter of President Bush.Undermining donations? Don't worry about it. So far, Congress has pledged toward the relief effort over $200 from every man, woman and child in the U.S. And there's plenty more where that came from.

my wife told me last night she wanted us to do something for the Katrina relief. I said, we have. We went to work today, we bought goods and services and our taxes are being applied in the form of $52bln in aid. she thinks we should do more, so I said, go work some overtime and let them take 50% of your pay instead of 33%

LOL!
It looks like you are simply TRYING to incite flames...
One could make the same generalization you made about the NHL, the Flyers, or men in general.
I happen to think the NFL provides pretty good entertainment these day, but then...I live in New England...:)

A caller to Tony Snow's program the other day had been manning the phones during that show. She said after West's remarks the calls just dried up !

I've about given up on the NFL as well. It's all Hollywood/over production/over marketed crazy. Can't even enjoy talking about it without some fantasy geek going over his roster. I hate those losers! Going to a game costs a boatload of money and being surrounded by a bunch of drunks competing to see who can curse the most. Watch ESPN for highlights as the anchors try their best to "out hip" the other as they treat these steroid freaks like some type of Gods. I might not watch any football this year.
