Interesting article. But the writer doesn't begin the narration early enough. Why didn't they obey Mayor Nagin's mandatory evacuation order prior to Hurricane Katrina's landfall?
Frauds like this are easy to expose, if they were present so that you could ask them a question or two such as: Discribe exactly what is in a C-Ration. How do you know it is a C-Ration?
Somebody's l-y-y-y-y-i-i-i-n-n-g!!
It seems likely that their account has a substantive basis in truth, but it is certain that the details and conclusions they take out are skewed, just as yours would be, in the direction of their personal biases; with only minor tweaks in viewpoint, everyone should be able to see why even someone that is not socialist would be upset by what they saw, and, likewise, why such things were done -- not that I would have made all of the same decisions: shoot to kill policy towards looters; Walmart locking the doors; hotels kicking people out; the guard turning desperate people away from designated shelter, and sheriffs, away from easy salvation
. That being said, I would take some of the allegations VERY seriously in evaluating how authorities handled the situation. For example, were they as much concerned with embarrassment of media focus on the ineffective relief as they were with actually alleviating real peoples suffering?

Also I'll note that in an interview a few days ago the couple of palefaces with peace signs said that their group going to the bridge was 90 people. In the written testimony they now say 200.
Now why don't I believe this? And why did they feel the need to even say it?
We are willing to guess that there were no video images or front-page pictures of European or affluent white tourists looting the Walgreen's in the French Quarter.
Again, why say this?
We also suspect the media will have been inundated with "hero" images of the National Guard, the troops and the police struggling to help the "victims" of the Hurricane.
No agenda here. None at all.
The last time I read this exact same article, it was supposedly written by a group of Brit tourists trapped in NO.
