I did not say they were, but, but they did not even organize to try and prevent it, did they?? Without proper civil authority in normal times, people at some point have to say this is unacceptable and take action.

If I had just lost my home, my family was missing, my dog was missing, I had no job and I was tired and scared and thirsty, I have no idea how I would react. I might hide in a corner, I might fight back. How many of us have been tested like this? It's easy to sit at our computers and theorize.

I thought we were talking about those who did not intervene in the looting, not those actually looting. Weren't you concerned that "good people did nothing"? That is not animalistic behavior and I will not blame them when I am not sure I would have intervened either.

I see the little twit hasn't learned a thing from her experience and is still spouting that tired old liberal BS which, imo, stinks worse than anything she might've caught a whiff of in the Superdome Yes...she's probably being interviewed this week on some BBC breakfast show, regurgitating this same bs. Easy to do now that she is back in a country where she won't ever be in that situation again.
At least the Australian lad was honest.
