I happened to be up (insomnia) and flipping through the TV channels. Direct TV has dedicated Chanel 100 to the Katrina Disaster. They are showing contact information for all sorts of federal and state agencies, road closings, and are running a personal contact scroll at the bottom for relatives trying to get in touch. You might want to put that nformation out if you start a new thread.

Yes - the same info can be accessed at
their website. It's a pdf file, so text search can be performed with the binoculars.

You treat many posters like crap, whether they're right or wrong. And it's not right. I'm calling you on it because it's not the way to debate in civil adult manner. This has nothing to do with taking something thread to thread. This public evacuation matter is very important and you have clearly contradicted yourself in your chosen posted informational links and posts. This is a very specific subject of much interest and import, and it's great that most have chosen to treat it as such and search for the truth. --- amen
