Interesting in ref to that- driving the other day I heard Neal Boortz discussing this- his opinion is that the Atlanta Red Cross is above reproach- and is in charge of all the southeast..
(Not that I always agree with Boortz!)
AOK!
LOL!
Those of you in this thread in the buses in NO debate
be sure and look at the pic at post # 2219
Don't worry about proving anything. My bf attends a predominently black evangelical church. He and the pastor are friends from way back. I asked him what the church was going to do and help, and the pastor and the elders had a meeting yesterday afternoon. the pastor is also going to find the name of the woman who is accepting material donations. I'm going to call City Hall tomorrow, and see if they know who she is.
Okie, please don't make assumptions. These folks are poor, but they'll give their last buck to help out.
Then why didnt Fox News tell anyone?
What has me p.o.'d is the MSM carrying water for the State and Jessie....
I'll take your word for it, but they must have moved the equipment out of there quick because I've been looking for it since they started showing the breach repair ops and haven't seen it. It had to be darned quick too. That's a big hole.
If the piling is in, the fill can do the job. If not, it can't, it's that simple.

Exactly. I believe the city made an economic decision to save their buses. NOLA has NEVER used their buses to help people evacuate when a hurricane approaches. Criminal. It will all come out when the dust settles.
from the convention center? I think the issue at the convention center, was not starving people. it was the evac. they had food initially because they broke into the food service area in the convention center, then water and MREs were brought in. but I will admit, the evac did take a long time there, and medical and sanitary conditions were bad. but it took a long time to setup the airbridge to chopper them out, that's just the reality of it.
His wife works for them.
Meanwhile Hillary Clinton is calling for a commission to investigate who to blame. Is she an idiot or what? We are still trying to save lives, and give people food, water and housing.
I can't tell from the picture you posted...
was that her 55th or 60th BLACK PANTSUIT????
CNN saying that Blanco won't give up the NG because if they fall under FEMA they wouldn't be able to shoot at will, that they would only be able to fire in defense.
Can that be true?
Nice.
Gotta tell you though, been chucklin at the idea of using CAS as a demo aid since you first brought it up. What is it exactly, that you have against a small boat and a case of 40%?
"In a separate online poll on our site, 61% of 1,078 respondents said New Orleans would return as a vibrant city; the remaining did not."
Many potential interested "pollee's" could not register their opinion however. They are on the other side of the great chasm.
I heard there was damage to the Superdome a while ago, that is why the city always was slow to offer it.
I am guessing the entire evacuation plan wouldn't work, even if it was firing on all cylinders. They had a plan they never expected to implement, and would not function if they had implemented it.
That sounds like Bob Mann (Blanco's press whore) psychobabble...
