No, really. Bush ought to take this opportunity to give Blanco a call, make her an offer she can't refuse, and have her "relieve" Nagin of his responsibilities. He's a f*%kwit and a paranoid. Then, if I were him, I'd turn NOLA into a Federal Military District and install someone who would be answerable only to him, like Condi, to run the shop. Then he can have someone there who will run the damn shop efficiently, Rudy-like, and get the damn business done with.

The 'mayor' of N.O. is an inept jerk. Now he is sounding paranoid. He ought to have used those school busses to evacuate the people living in the poorer sections of the city. Instead, he did nothing at all to help the people. He has been blaming President Bush for his own sins.
The report about the 'mayor' not using the school busses was reported only by Matt Drudge and this news site. The MSM missed it entirely. The press corps are getting too fat eating in ritzy NY and DC restaurants.
