Also, what about St. Bernard Parish, which is almost entirely under water and which directly faces the Gulf? When we start pumping water out in a steady stream of flow, basically, we are going to have a 1000 square mile chum slick.

A shark was reported swimming down Canal St. but that could have been a rumor or outright lie.

it was probably just a lawyer - right now N.O. is the ultimate ambulance chase.

I have heard it is a very shallow lake, maybe 5 feet at the deepest, mud bottom. Not much good for anything. I repeat, I have heard this years ago but don't know for sure.

If you are putting together a care package include pedialyte. This is used to treat babies and children with diahrrea. It replace the electrolytes and prevents dehydration.
