That wasn't a mistake, Sadaam astride Kuwait and Saudi Arabia was a clear threat. Cashing their checks and calling everything even was a mistake. We should have clear, though perhaps unofficial, understandings with the Saudis, Kuwaitis, et al as to the limits of price increases.
