The number of major Huricanes has been lower in the 70-80-90"s than in the 1930's through the 1960's (26 major ones over that time.
The difference is AIR CONDITIONNING!!! Without it the population and growth in the southern states and the coastal areas was limited until the migration started in the 60's.

This sentence shows the true culprit, which is not global warming, but GLOBAL TRADE. If there were no global trade, there would be no trade winds, and no increase in the storm winds. The increase in hurricane strength is clearly tied to increased trade winds, caused by increased global trade.
This increase is, of course, Bush's fault.
Well at THAT time...the 'scientists were still developing their 1960's/1970's/1980's 'theories' regarding the upcoming ice age!!!
