Thanks PD. This is FReeping at its best.
I hope and expect that many other frequent FReepers (known by all) on the main threads will check in here to affirm and support.

And, even better, you are twisting their shorts into a very tight knot (evil grin).

I really believe that God provided us with a strong leader during this time. I will think of Bush and pray.
But aren't the Dimocrats just "politicizing" this tragedy? Could this be OUT talking point? I don't think it would work because Dims have no shame.

Sure the Democrats are politicizing this tragedy. Would you expect any less from them? These people have been out of power years, and they dont know another way to handle it, but to use every potential opportunity to score political points. They are shameless. They dont care how disgusting they are if they are successful in bringing down Bush. Their failure only insures that they will try harder next time.

Man, am I ever glad I'm on your ping list or I might have missed this gem of a rant. Preach it, brother! Prayer is a mighty weapon.

I think it took me a year to figure out how to make and keep a ping list. I thought it was something on Free Republic that did it for you. I never thought to just keep a document with names on it and cut and paste them.
Glad you liked it.

Thank you so much for putting all this into words. I am constantly shocked at the hatred aimed at our President. He needs our prayers now more than ever.

WOW! Thanks for the heads up, Diver Dave! Bravo, PD - I didn't see your (unclean version), but this is quite a read. :)
We do have a huge readership at FR, and I honestly believe that *we* had more than a small part in President Bush' election - AND his re-election.

There is no doubt that Freepers played a role in Bush's election. I was just an occasional lurker on this forum when a FReeper named "Registered" came up with the 'Sore Loserman' logo that became the theme of the battle down in Florida.
It was also FReepers outside the Vice President's home screaming "Get out of Cheney's house!" at Al Gore and his family. If anything FReepers are responsible for providing support and activism to the Conservative movement when Liberals were desperately trying to steal our thunder.

I'm e-mailing your wonderful "rant" to everybody I know and will urge them to pass it along. This is a most important editorial and we should always look to God to find the good and do the good, or evil will prevail...in the form of democRats. Thank you for taking the time to put it together and sharing it on FR. Well done PD, WELL DONE!

Hey, I want to thank you for helping to spread the word about this post. I was hesitant to do so myself, because with all the positive comments, I was concerned to be seen as getting a big head about this and yesterday's rant too. Nothing I've written here compares to the great works that FReepers are doing in defense of Conservative values.
Thanks again for helping get the word out about this post.
