Yep, buses with Texas plates they can't find.
Very nice.
What is it?
as long as I refresh or re-post, it works. still would like to know the outcome at childrens hospital. it has been busy for the last two nights as looters have been trying to get in to get to the drugs. I pray for the little ones (about 100, last I heard) who are still there.
How far away is Houston from NO?
I'm getting "page cannot be found"!
I believe a little over 300 miles.
Page cannot be found????
SWAT says all was well when they got there. They sure haven't said much in the way of details. SWAT is ready to leave the hospital now.
thanks for the update. again, you have to feel for the little one's in there. now they should leave a patrol car or two around the hospital.
They should have at least provided firearms for the staff there.
I just plugged into my map software. 351 miles. Pretty long haul. Isn't there anything closer? Would Baton Rouge have any facilities?
Not sure...maybe every thing there is packed from the first evac. I guess they want the dome in Houston because of mass capacity.
It should have been the same link as the original but for some reason the HTML didn't pick up the original site address. FR's address was put in its place. I don't know HOW that happened. Something's wrong here and I don't know exactly what it is.
And now my media player says it can't find the link any more. CYTD, would you know anything about that?
CYTD, how did you say you came by this scanner link?

You happen to catch the film on (I think) MSNBC of the cops partaking in the looting?
http://205.252.89.181:8000/live.m3u
That's the original link.
It's the site the "live" feed came from. You'll also notice a link at the bottom asking for support of another outfit of some kind. I don't suppose you'd know anything about that?

Of course it has...that is how radios work....
Now read "The Battle of New Orleans"

yes, but no. LSU and Southern La are just 70 miles away. they may have already been using those facilities and both would not be able to handle the 35K-45K people expected. Lafayette (LLU) could not handle those large numbers either.
You'd better check your facts before you start hinting troll.
You're the only one having these problems with this scanner. The rest of us are fine. I'd say something's wrong with your computer or your media player.
It's been taken down maybe? I also noticed when I reloaded the original page with the #URL(don't recall the terminology), the "current song" had changed. I smell a rat here and I'd like to get to the bottom of it.
