Why doesn't President Bush call for a temp cut in the federal gas tax?

I do blame the president. Both Bush and Clinton, for over 10 years this country has lacked a clear, smart energy policy. We are all going topay fro this now. We need new drilling, new refineries, and we need to start to really look at other energy sources.

Gee, no mention of how the left and GReenoids have blocked construction of any new refineries or allowed any new drilling in this country for years and years.
How convenient... and deceitful.

Yes they are that stupid.
I expect this spike in prices to be short lived.
I had better be if we want the economy to keep chugging along

More than three-quarters of the poll's respondents disapproved of the way President Bush is handling gas prices. He should just ration gas for everyone except me. Then I could get gas cheaper, and there would be no need to despoil the pristeen Arctic National Wildlife Preserve, which I have never seen and will never see as long as I live.
But he won't do it because he's a Republican SOB and I hate him.

My thoughts exactly.
Hey Bush, thanks for the throat cancer and the unexpected loss of our dear cat Larry.

What do you LEFTIST filth in the mainstream media expect George Bush to personally do that will directly effect high gas prices ?

I am reading what some "conservatives" are saying here, you would think no one is responsible for paying for anything.
