If we choose not to rebuild Keesler AFB in Biloxi like we decided not to rebuild Homestead AFB near Miami after Andrew, then it's in the perfect place to put up a refinery (provided we build it strong enough to withstand the next Katrina/Camille). Hmm, maybe not such a good idea after all...

On the other hand, there are a couple of bases being closed in downtown Atlanta...

How do you think they are making increased profits? The majors are building new refineries around the world but the EPA and the tree huggers make it impossible to build in the USA. Foreign countries are purchasing USA located decommissioned refineries left and right, relocating the refineries in their own countries.

All it takes is an executive order from the Pres. Bush. Build the refinery then sell it to Warren Buffett
