As a 62 year old conservative Republican, I find George Bush to be the worst Republican president in my lifetime. He is not fit even to shine Richard Nixon's shoes. My conclusion is that he is even dumber than the Democrats claim him to be.

After 5 years, he appears to have no energy policy, and we suffer the results every day at the gas pump and elsewhere. His Iraq war has been an expensive and deadly fiasco at a time when he should have been going full speed in Afghanistan to capture and/or kill Bin Laden. His total lack of interest in securing America's borders borders on criminal. I sure hope this country can survive 3 more years of this incompetent man.

" Peres has called for a de-emphasis on sovereignty in his region and argued for a Middle Eastern version of the European Union."

Peres has an excuse for being such an ass - he is a Jew and many of my co-religionists are socialism impaired.

But Peres would be well advised to remember the joke about four wolves and a sheep voting on dinner before he gets his wish for a Middle East super sized government.

What of Israel's bad experiences at the hands of the UN can this pitiful "oven Jew" not remember?

Why do such people continue to keep going back to socialism like a horse to a burning barn?

If I could draw cartoons, I'd draw Richardson and Napolitano chasing an illegal that is waving a flag with dollar signs on it. They aren't doing anything but chasing money with their emergency declarations.

I wonder how much Bush will have to borrow from China to pay off this bill? Now that we owe billions to rebuild the South, one would think he'd take pity on the poor American citizens and stop the criminals coming into America, who are sucking us dry. But no, I would imagine that Bush is so insulated by his handlers he doesn't even know any Mexicans are in America now.

Bush had better wake up! This country is headed for bankruptcy. We can't continue to pay for the world's problems, as well as our own, with the middle class being forced into low paying jobs by the illegals. Doesn't anybody in the Bush administration know what is going on? Doesn't any Republican care? I know this is stretching it a lot, but doesn't any Democrat care?

Did a hurricane hit either of these states?

Go away, Bill Richardson and Janet Napolitano. Come back when you have a REAL crisis on your hands. Bush is pretty busy elsewhere.

Debating whether or not he should meet personally with Cindy Sheehan (again).

Or maybe to put a little more pressure on Aruba to come up with the persons who had something to do with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

How about the price of gasoline at the pump? And here you people go worrying about a little thing like having to close hospitals and beef up local law enforcement, all just becaus of a few illegal aliens.

Get a little perspective on things. Do you think President Bush gets up in the morning and says, "Hmmm, who can I screw over today?"

Is there some hidden agenda here that I do not understand ?

Nothing hidden.
President Bush is out front about it.

Source at bottom.

"When it comes time to VOTE in 2006

Some Thoughts to Consider

Considering the Non-Accomplishments in Washington, D.C. since 9-11:

No solving the Border Security issue

No solving the Illegal Immigration issue

No addressing the Islamic Threat to our Judeo-Christian Civilization

No addressing the Trade Balance issue

No addressing the Out-Sourcing of Jobs to overseas

No addressing the Pork Barrel Spending & the Fleecing of the Taxpayers

No addressing the complicated IRS Mess

No addressing the vast Voter Fraud epidemic

No addressing the abusive Judicial Confirmation Process

No Accountability for the Corrupt Manner in which CAFTA was rammed through Congress

and there are more ..........

It would good & wise to vote EVERY Politico in the U.S. Senate (who is up for re-election) and in the U.S. Congress OUT of office in 2006.

There is no way that their replacements, however inexperienced or from whatever party could possibly do worse than the current malfeasant incompetents who talk much during media face-time, dress nice and are well-coiffured -- yet, do Nothing.

It would do the Nation good to have a 2-year flush and remind those elected just who they work for. The few good guys won't mind and they will get back in.

Just imagine the chaos among the myriad lobbyists, influence peddlers, big media mouthpieces, big business, big political funders, political hacks, political commentators, agenda-based think tanks, and all manner of organizations whose sole purpose is to NOT represent the American citizenry.

Absent some radical, if not revolutionary purge, the current politicos and their supporting parasites will just continue destroying our country,

So, just start considering voting the current Senator or Congressman OUT during the Primary or General Election.

It's not as if we don't have 50 State Governments who can't take care of their states without D.C. political meddling.

Ask yourself:

Just what has my Senator or Congressman done for me or my family or business lately? Try to list their accomplishments.... Write down the accomplishments.

Just Think About It. You have many months to mull it over.

But, Things Must Change."

Mrs. Schlafly is on the mark, as usual. Too bad she doesn't have the president's ear.

agreed; she's been on the mark for so long, one could almost consider her a prophet...but she is dismissed as a "fringe element." It's a shame, because most often, she really does have a strong grasp of many things.

"If the Rats could get a rightist Rat (such as a Zell Miller) to run in '08, he might get a comfortable victory. Consider how close Dubya came to getting ousted, and it was only because Kerry was such a clown that he didn't."

They don't even have to come up with a rightist. Hillary is their man, and she will win paying only modest lip service to this issue because most of the GOP will not be able to rid themselves of the Bush "amnesty" stink.

Agree on the border issue; you are off the mark on everything else, especially the war in Iraq. Evidently, you have not heard the voices of the heroes who have returned from that theater, and are willing to go back.

They are so proud of their accomplishments. I believe the president has the right vision for this area of the world.
