They should ban guns there THAT will solve the problem...
Then, make harsh language illegal.
ASKKKKK the robbers to stop, that'll do it.

Nah......couldn't be that!

Could it be rivals in the non-medpot trade trying to defend their turf?

LIBERTARIANS: "Let's regulate pot and other drugs just like we do alcohol and we will see all of our problems disappear. Since alcohol has been regulated you don't see anymore drunks do you?"

Could it be rivals in the non-medpot trade trying to defend their turf?Surely this is the case. There is one way to put them out of business... Paging all drug warriors, paging all drug warriors...

Think about how many convenience stores get robbed.
Considering how much cash they deal with, it's surprising that they haven't been robbed more.
In only one of the cases mentioned have the thieves gotten away with anything.
This is a serious problem, but I think the author is over dramatizing it a bit.

China fell to opium. It never recovered until it took a hard line against users.
As long as white middle class subversives are using it, there will be a drug war and related drug crimes.

This is a little confusing my friend but I guess the gist of what you are saying is that in the case of marijuanna, people don't know what's good for them and someone like the Government has to step in to make sure they do "what is best". Sorry, in this case, I don't buy it... despite China "falling to opium".

Happy, liberaltarians? Legalization of pot or drugs is a moronic idea. This is yet another example of why.
To: rhombus
people don't know what's good for them and someone like the Government has to step in to make sure they do "what is best". Freedom's quite an illusion, isn't it? I believe in anarchy, ideally, but if there's going to be one law then there may as well be a thousand.

"Such logic seems to justify just about anything..." Absolutely- it's very empowering. Our ideals become worthless when the government doesn't respect them. The constitution really is just a piece of paper and a million dreams that we're not allowed to live.
This covers a lot more than drugs, of course. Like the ACLU likes to argue- if the state can forbid you from owning a tank, then why not a rifle?
The best deal for freedom, short of a massive revolution someday, is to work with the government for sensible laws. The other avenue is to break and subvert the law, which carries a terrible personal risk.

Naturally you ignore that this is a problem created solely by Prohibition and nothing else whatsoever.
