Harrigan is gonna get killed if he doesn't get inside. He's getting hit by roof debris.
WAPT says folks are feeling the pressure drops and the wind 'like the buildings are moving.'
I just woke up (I'm in AZ so it is still early here) and turned on Fox News to see Steve Harrigan standing in the hurricane. What a moron. Get him inside now.
I believe the Superdome has leaked before and been patched. Bet the leak is where it was patched before. Just a guess, though.
Would somebody please tell that Steve Harrigan to go inside? He's ridiculous. I'm more interested in what type of rain suit he's wearing than in his heroics in the hurricane. Sheesh.
Wait'll he takes a Yield Sign in his spleen.
He can't; they locked him out of the hotel.
People misbehaving.
"Eventually the outer eyewall replaces the inner one completely and the storm can be the same intensity as it was previously or, in some cases, even stronger."

You are wrong.

Harrigan has GOT to get inside
Harrigan has GOT to get a brain first!!!
According to MSNBC, NO has been spared the worst of the storm. Those 40 miles to the East of NO will bear the worst. (Biloxi, MS)
Extreme naughtiness!
I would have thought they'd have diesel generators (or pumps) on site ready to go... Amazing... Considering the consequences...
Yes...but he is SUCH a hoot (and really a good reporter) - just now he said "well now we have gutters coming off and a piece of roof just flew by"...he says this in such a matter-of-fact tone. I just love him.
Harrigan is locked out now. I hope they can hear him knocking now to get back in!
Unfortunately the worst part of this thing is still to come over NO.
Also, Harrigan needs to go inside now!!
Brian Williams/NBC was reporting from the Superdome last night. And I heard this morning they aren't allowing camera crews inside.
I thought all of the pumps were electric, but some could also operate on diesel, which makes a heck of a lot of sense if you think about it, to have a back-up like that. So hopefully, if it's a power issue and not maintenance problems, at least some of the pumps are still working.
There is so much media inside the Superdome at this point, we are going to know if Brian Williams eats a ham sandwich.
