Check it out... FreeRepublic is even bigger than Drudge. And DemocraticIdiot.gook doesn't even register.

Something I've thought for awhile - DU and DK are no more our "rivals" than pillbugs are to elephants.
There's a DU thread linked around here earlier today about this report - the DUmmies weren't best pleased...

This place was being referred to as a blog when Howlin and Buckhead exposed Dan Rather's document forgery. Wizbang and Powerline thought they broke the story. FR, a chat and news discussion board, was the first to expose the Dan Rather shenanigans 12 hours before it hit the blogosphere.

Dailykos ranked 18th, after Crazyass13. DU off the bottom of the chart.

I don't understand how we can possibly be bigger than Drudge. Wasn't he getting millions of hits a day?

If FR is really number one then it seems to me like Jim should bite the bullet and try to make a little money off of the love of his life, his baby. He deserves it. The advertising bucks should be there. He can use the money to support good causes and you know he would. And we would all have to put up with a few Drudge-like pop-ups. Big deal.
It is worth considering.
