I'm sure he appreciates your input. Hahaha.

I think a lot of folks are interested in Abel Danger. I won't be watching Hardball tonight, but I am watching the story develop here on FR.

Anything interesting pops up on Hardball (or anywhere else for that matter) feel free to ping me if you are so inclined.

Bush made an error on this one.

No he didn't, but welcome to the FR. He knows what her position is. She's not going to convince him of anything, and he's not going to convince her. There's no point in meeting her a second time. How about a third and fourth? You could use the same logic to say "Why not?".

She's been demanding a public meeting, which is not quite what you're making it sound like. He's not hiding behind Tammy Pruett, he's letting America see what a real military mom is like, since your friends in the media have no interest in doing it.

Bush made the right decision not to meet with her again. Especially, since she associated herself with the pro-terrorists and insulted the President and shows incredible disrespect.

Actually, he does meet with families and wounded soldiers frequently.

And, since Cindy is so emotional, there is always the danger that Bush could get emotional and there would be the problem that caused Iran/Contra. You know that leftists say that Reagan's meeting with hostage families led to that fiasco.

Now you wouldn't want that, would you. Scandal, hearings, of course you wouldn't

Okay, troll, this is the President of the United States you are talking about. The libs have so denigrated Bush that it seems difficult for many (like you) to realize that he is not just a man on a ranch in Crawford, TX, but holder of the top office in a very great nation.

HE MET WITH HER ONCE! Is her whining and exploitation to be rewarded with an interview--one which would be another opportunity for the left to denigrate Bush and thus the Presidency? After all, this woman has said he is a liar. If he lied about WMD, so did most of the world.

If he had just stopped, once, this would NOT have ended it, but would have given fresh fervor to the barracudas of the left.

"I would have given her all the time she wanted and then let her go on her way. What ammo would she have left?"

And then every time someone like that Fat Slob Michael Moore camps outside his home, the President has to stop and listen? Nope. That would set the wrong precedent. The President met with her, and despite her initial praise for the meeting, Ms. Sheehan wasn't satisfied. There is nothing the President could do to please her, so why even try? What "ammo" would she have left? Well, she got inventive in recounting the first meeting -- what is to prevent her from doing so again?

I'm sorry, but Bush made an error on this one.

If Bush made an exception for Sheehan, the flood gates would open and everyone with a gripe would be at his door.

Bush has met with an untold number of grieving families, some of whom probably gave the President a good tongue-lashing.

We will never know...because those people had the good sense and class to keep their private meeting private.

Cindy Sheehan's 15 minutes are getting stale.

I'm sorry, but Bush made an error on this one. He should have just trotted out there and met with Sheehan again. Why not?

Because that would have given these people exactly what they wanted, a chance to be filmed by the media while booing and hissing and screaming at and spitting on the President of the United States. This would have given the all-too-eager media what's called the "money shot" in the porn industry, to be packed up and shipped to al Jazeera and the European media and the DNC so it could be played over and over and over again and presented as "proof" that everyone in America feels like Cindy Sheehan does.

Besides, she's called him a murderer and a terrorist and used just about every profanity imaginable in reference to him, as well as spouting off every crackpot conspiracy theory you people on the left hold near and dear. Why should he reward this foul-mouthed, stone-stupid tool with a face-to-face meeting?

He was also demanding that she reveal who in the White House telephoned her to come forth. (He was obviously salivating that her answer would be Karl Rove.) She did not give him the answer he was looking for. Now whether his producer at the other end of his ear phone told him to go easier on her, I don't know. But a few seconds later he was frantically calling her a great American and a great speechmaker.

Did Chris ask Cindy Sheehan who got her to come forward?! NO! Because he already knew it was John Kerry's campaign! He just didn't want the American People to know that!

Did you happen to see him after Al Gore finally gave his concession speech? He got all teary eyed for the camera. He's a sad little man living the liberal lie.

Odd behavior for a man that claims he voted for Bush in 2000.

Are you kidding? He said that? I find that hard to believe.

Naw, he's a koolaid drinker. No way he voted for Bush.
