To this day, I'll pull out my dad's flight suit and smell it...it brings back vivid memories of him coming home off of the flightline, along with a childhood full of patriotic, good people. (sorry it that's weird)!

Not weird at all. The sense of smell is the strongest trigger for memories. The second strongest is music...

My brother in Afghanistan sent me the following e-mail yesterday, stating that 60 MINUTES has a crew in Afghanistan, even though -- surprise! -- they are not authorized to be there and were so told well before they got there. Look for a hatchet job from 60 Minutes on the Afghanistan Campaign very soon...

I thought that the below information would be helpful as 60 Minutes has been snooping around - it is hard to tell what their actual agenda is but it doesn't matter as they have not been credentialed by CFC-A.

60 mins is still in the AO. They ambushed one of our PRT commanders down in RC South today. No contact with the news crew is authorized. The 60 mins crew is not authorized to work with anyone from CJTF76. They are not credentialed by CFC-A and were told this before they arrived in Afghanistan.

Please pass this out to all subordinate commanders and all FOB.
