Why does our media seem to support our enemies?

Why do they denigrate the system that gave them their wealth and freedom to do these things?

Two reasons. First, many leftists are incapable of comprehending the principle of cause-and-effect. Second, those who do comprehend it believe they'll always be immune from the consequences of their words and deeds.

people have a tendancy to be "tragedy vampires" if you see an accident on the street, have you noticed how many people stop to gawk? same with fires, accidental deaths, suicide jumpers, war protestors, etc. people tend to flock to tragedy.

There were some people like that who backed the bolshevik revolution and they didn't like where they ended up.

These are more than yapping dogs, they own America's mood, culture,ie, Hollywood, our pols, our education, our judiciary, science, medicine, and our very history.

They have to power to destroy lives and livelihoods, reputations, policies, they determine the outcome of wars, elections, and international events.

They control what we hear, in what context we hear it, how many times we hear it, the importance of what we hear, and who we hear it from.

Our reps in DC do nothing without the approval of the NYT editorial board, the sit in front of DNC operatives on Sunday's and prostate themselves into being berated and lectured to by some hack.

It is sickening, degrading, and weak.

And Americans eat it up, like negative advertising, they say they hate it, but it works every time, the public says the don't trust the media, but they hear it and eventually believe them, every time.

I attended a top 10 journalism school in the early 1990s with every intention to enter the business. We were encouraged to write for the student newspaper. I was interested until I started to observe the students who actually worked at the student newspaper, most specifically those who hung around in the campus paper newsroom. They were the sorriest group of individuals you'd ever encounter. Self-loathing, anti-American, hippy freaks. At that time of my life I didn't even know the difference betweeen a liberal and a conservative but I knew darn well I wanted nothing to do with that crew.

Had a friend once who had the guilts over being a straight white male...hung around with a lot of lesbian feminist activists..finally found a woman who was straight enough to move in with him that hung out with the same crowd.

He was a college instructor of course. Last time I saw him he was in some protest or other that made TV news...

Because communism/socialism/facism has infiltrated our News Media, and they really do Hate the United States.

Hypocrisy is their religion. They will promptly blame the President for not "acting on intelligence" after a mushroom cloud rises over an American or Israeli city. They will quote experts who "knew all along this would happen" and "warned the administration, who did nothing".

The double speak is shocking...the scary part is that it is so predictable.

That explanation works today but what is the reason the press has distorted the news in favor of our enemies before that? I'm thinking at least as far back as the "Thet Offensive crushed American forces..." line of BS.

They support our enemies because they themselves are our enemies. Besides believing that they are morally superior to trifling little concepts like citizenship and loyalty, they hate America because America destroyed their political philosophy: communism.

They were communist, the Soviet Union was communist, they wanted communism to spread. They approve of the jihadists because they are jihadists themselves, just with different methods and a different cause, one that they do not realize is long dead.
