Funny, I mentioned only IE...not MS, but then you took my remarks as being about MS (without being specific as to the subject in your response)...so maybe you should try reading AND writing a little more carefully.

That's nice.  But it doesn't matter what you wrote, I broadened it to include MS as an entity.  Sorry if it through you off.  Should I write it slower for you next time?  =)

It was originated by communists, but IBM and other US corporations have provided billions of dollars in improvements the last few years, only to give them away to the rest of the world for free. It was a trojan horse, designed to steal US intellectual property, and is unfortunately working perfectly.

Yup...same ol' bullcrap. Only twice as boring now.

These guys do more to hurt their cause than I ever could, and they don't even realize it.

True.  But giving away the feebies to other countries didn't help either.

If it was bullcrap, as you say, you could have disproven it long ago. Too bad all the facts are on my side, leaving you with name calling and bold fonts.

Yup...same ol' bullcrap. Only twice as boring now.

And at no extra cost either.  What a deal!

This deal seems to include everything, including hardware, and isn't available to people in the US or North America. I'd call it very unique and extreme in most every aspect.

IBM is basically telling the whole world that they don't plan on hiring many Ameircans in the future with this crazy deal. It's their products however and they are free to do with them as they wish. It's too bad that many corporations that were founded in America think nothing of being patriotic.

Look no further than this, dated June 27, 2005:

IBM Cutting Here and Hiring There

Even as it proceeds with layoffs of as many as 13,000 workers in Europe and the United States, IBM plans to increase its payroll in India this year by more than 14,000 workers, according to an internal company document.

You haven't the slightest clue what the f**k you're talking about when it comes to IBM policies, so just shut up. You're embarrassing yourself.

I'm sick of these b.s. threads where you haven't a clue what the poster is discussing.

To Golden Eagle........FReepmail me if you have the guts to discuss specifics with someone who knows what they're talking about. Otherwise........zip it. I have no patience with grandstanders.

I've already told you windbag, bring it on in the arena if you have the nads. So far nada.

All we see is all this technology and jobs going from the US to these foreign countries at the hands of IBM. You think you can justify it, then lay it on the table. But you'll need something more than name calling like your friends, and I really don't think you have it in you.

" You mean they were charging their employees before? Holy crap."

Not that I know of. They have gotten so cheap though they don't even stock office supplies enough to last the month so you have to buy your own. They are spending millions building new datacenters in India and Brazil and shipping the work offshore as fast as they can. Unfortunately the service they get back is not great but you can't convince the management of that.

"shareware, practice space, mentoring = you think maybe they are trying to sell mainframes?"

No, they're training a cheap workforce.

"You're embarrassing yourself."

Don't worry, he's used to it. He does it on every thread.

I have nothing to be embarrassed about, I have legitimate concerns that are backed up with verifiable links from multiple sources. You guys are the jokes, running around like romper room trying to hide these technology and job transfers to places like China for reasons that are only known to you. Screaming names and trying to attack my character, but never once disproving anything I have to say.

ok tin turkey, forget that MS gave source code access to the chicoms...wait, we don't have to worry about that, because MS and the communist leaders made an agreement, and we know we can trust communists!

Gobble Gobble!

Wrong again, you're obviously trying to cover up the transfers of open source which are complete and total transfers. Not everyone in the chicom government has access to view portions of the MS code, only those specifically allowed to have access under specific agreement and circumstances.

But, of course, anyone in the chicom government can get a free copy of Linux from Red Hat, and resell it, rename it, whatever they want to do with it. They don't have to contact Microsoft first, ask permission, setup access, they just go straight to the Red Hat servers and start downloading away. If they eat up all of Red Hat's bandwidth in the process, Red Hat will faithfully add more servers for them, no questions asked.

If you really cared about technology transfers to the Chicoms, you'd start with the worst offenders. Obviously not part of your agenda.

That's the problem. I did. You just refuse to face facts.

So spare me your delusions of adequacy, sport.

LOL, what facts have you ever come up with? All I ever see is you jumping around like your pajamas were on fire when these complete givaways to China and Russia are discussed, hilariously accusing me of supporting it. What a complete and total joke.
