"Mr. and Mrs. Smith" is a somewhat less than mediocre action film, but Angelina Jolie has a few good moments. The concept of a married couple who are hired killers and have been hired to kill each other sounds SICK.

See "Millions"... a British film that didn't hang around the theaters in my area long... but well worth the money. What's it about, and what's the rating?

"March of the Penguins" was a good documentary made by a French outfit under the auspices of National Geographic. It is narrated by Morgan Freeman and to the best of my recollection there were no leftist-global-warming tangents.
We all know the valid reasons for the French to be punching bags but these particular frogs did a good job...and most certainly froze their bottoms doing it.

If you are a parent, you ENDURE it.

My mom took my 5-year-old to see "March of the Penguins." They loved it.That's a French movie. It didn't come from Hollywood.
Ahhh... After reading about it here, I thought I would have to go see it, or buy it, but I don't do French.

I don't know what the rating was - but there was no profanity and only one obligatory "sex" scene, but it was implied and nothing was seen.
"Millions" is about two brothers. The youngest has a bunch of money literally fall into his lap. He has been recently orphaned, so he thinks the money is from God. He believes that he has been called to do good with it - so that is what he sets out to do.
The money has to be exchanged because Britian is about to transfer to the Eurodollar... so much comedy comes as the family tries to exchange it.
When the young man finds out that the money has been "robbered", he undergoes a crisis of faith...
The only tension comes when the robber figures out who has the money, and he terrorizes the young boy to get the money back.
It is probably one of my favorite films of the year. I will purchase the DVD when it comes out.
I highly recommend it...

They hardly make a film that I am willing to pay money to go see. I think Master and Commander was the last one I went to...

Father and Mother are superheros. Son is about to start high school for superheros and he doesn't have any power yet and may not ever get any, so he ends up in "sidekick" class.
You can get a better description if you google it or check out http://www.imdb.com
