This is my favorite line from this excellent essay:
"And since 9/11, they [the libs] have also been turned into grief-seeking missiles, and slipped into a confusion and squalor that boggle the mind."

You know, there are so many truths expressed in this article that it is hard for me to single out any particular one over another. She has certainly got the RAT MO down pat.

The use of Cindy Sheehan is the archtype liberal method of using emotion over reason for a political cause. It is the same emotional ploy used by parents who sue drug companies or beer companies when their children od or get drunk and kill themselves in a car crash. Most of these unfortunate parents refuse to make allowances for personal behavior as a cause of their grief. It is better to blame some huge business or government for their child's death. Anyone pointing out that the grieving parents are contesting the wrong people and that the big company or government is not responsible for the child's death is accused of being insensitive.
I don't smoke, but many people file lawsuits against tobacco companies when their loved dies of lung cancer even though their loved one started smoking or remained a smoker long after the tobacco companies put warnings on the packages. The politics of grief has no rational basis. Which is why, of course, liberals will keep exploiting it.

This is the best article that I have read on the subject. It is indeed the Left's manifestation of stupidity: doing the same thing over and over, while hoping for a different result.
