"I think I can safely say that anyone who is involved in this project will do anything we can to [go to] the appropriate venue [to] present all the truth that we are aware of in the appropriate time and place," Shaffer said. This statement leads me to believe that all we have seen is the "tip of the iceberg" and there may be a lot more to come.

Tom Kean, the former chairman of the Sept. 11 Commission, told Fox that the Pentagon should expedite its evaluation of Shaffer's allegations. Tom Kean should find an emema.

This would be great news if I had any confidence in the United States Senate.
I don't.

Oh I can't wait! Arlen Spector, Ted Kennedy, John McCain and John Kerry all questionsing former Senators and Clintonesta from the committee, all getting to the bottom to reveal the hardcore truth. Yeah just can't wait.

Extremely doubtful that even a cattle prod wielding Kean can force an inanimate building to do anything.

I won't hold my breath waiting for Gore-Lick to be put under oath.

Gorelick will probably become the next Clintonista to refuse to testify under oath and go to jail for contempt to protect BJ.

I share your low estimation of this entire idea. It could be the cover-up of the cover-up.

Yeah just can't wait. I see your point but it might be worth watching just to see them squirm a little. I really think it would be foolish for them to even contemplate any kind of coverup at this point. Let the chips fall where they may.

Am I just a Pollyanna to be hopeful because the DOD and military will be doing a simultaneous investigation?

Tom Kean should find an emema. You may find this hard to believe, but Kean was a major improvement over his predessor, Gov. Brendon Byrne (D).

I want the NYT to retract the 'bush knew' headline and replace it with 'actually, clinton knew'.

Like you, I suspect that there is much more to this and it will dribble out, drip, drip, drip...for a long time.

The Senate is considering holding hearings into claims that an elite military intelligence unit had identified lead 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta two years before the attacks but was ordered not to alert law enforcement by Clinton administration lawyers at the Pentagon. They should!!! As an American citizen, I want to know WHY 9/11 was allowed to happen! They investigate stupid stuff like who forgot to claim a golfing fee on their political donations list, so they'd better DAMN well look into this!

"Clinton not only knew, he caused it"

The Democrats and Republicans can protect their own but will they want to this time? We are talking about 9/11 here. Surely the members will have to ask the witnesses questions that will foward the truth. If they don't, won't it be obvious to the American people? I believe when people are educated on the subject, they will demand the truth as well. IT IS ALWAYS THE COVERUP THAT GETS YOU. The mainstream media is no longer the force of years past. Things are different now. This may be the beginning....
