How much land is used up by a wind farm? Sounds like a lot.

The anti-wind folks try to make it sound like a lot, but actual turbines have a very small footprint (about 15~20ft. diameter at the base) and the average sized concrete foundation (50 x 50ft.) can be buried under topsoil to allow farming/grazing almost right up to the base of turbines.
