All talk thus far. Neither one has shown these colors before. Just the opposite.

As far as I am concerned, it's BS until I see AP photos of convoys of trucks hauling illegals south.

Most DIM politicians would screw their mothers for a leg up in the next election.

However, since the average voter has the memory of a dog and the IQ of turnup, these guvs will score points. A lot of people are to the point where they will vote for the devil if he will secure the border.

Oh, what the heck. Why don't we just make this guy our dictator for life, and be done with it? LOL

Arizona ignored pleas for greater cooperation from Mexican President Vicente Fox to become the second US state to declare a state of emergency on its border due to rising illegal immigration, violence and smuggling.

We have overcome our initial inertia to control the border, now this political firestorm can't be stopped because it has become Pandora's Box and it cannot be shut before the 2008 presidential election.

I'm not worried about the Dem's getting credit for making the first move, I think the left and the right will be preaching the gospel of border control when its election season. This could be dramatic, it could crush PC as we know it.

So Mr. Fox just STFU and deal with it.

I'm encouraged. All this hoopla the past couple of days should cut down illegal immigration from 6,000 per day to 3,000 or, maybe, even 2,000. Whoo-hoo! </s>

These governors' declarations have the potential to bring about a state/fed showdown of a complexity not seen since the Civil War.

If Fox is protesting, things must finally be going the right way. When Mexico attacks one or more border states, FedGov will finally be involved. Automatic.

I am seeing less and less of the BushBots on the issue of II these days. Wonder if they too are getting the message that Bush has abandoned the people that elected him.

Am I on FR? Someone actually gets it?

OF COURSE it's a joke: that isn't the point! The point is this: Democrats are making--faking--the initiative.

Richardson is, as the Dear Leader would say, one of "Beer Crinton's homies." No secret there. This is all about posturing.

True, he called the minutemen vigilantes. With that track record, look for him to declare AZ & NM to be in a state of rebellion against the federal government.

Most Freepers understand that Richardson and his Rat ilk are merely giving lip-service to border-enforcement and will do nothing when the chips are down; they're just hoping such bluster brings attention to the isssue which will then force the GOP's hand.

Maybe not. But, when the inevitable violence occurs, look for him to back foreigners against the American people.

Dane anything you say tells me absolutely nothing.

Just telling what happened. Chinagate figure richardson snubbed and humiliated minuteman leader chris simcox and simcox was still praising him.

You can read the live Hannity thread at the below link.
