vincente would like us to work together? Does that mean the Mexican Army is going to stop aiding illegal aliens in "repatriating" the southwest. It seems to me Vincente and his countrymen think that Mexicans have rights here. And Why shouldn't he? Our government has done nothing to give him reason to think differenty, and it is a disgrace to this nation and her people.

The lack of any Republican activity on illegal immigration could cost them the election next year. It doesn't matter if the Democrats only pay lip service to the illegal immigration problem. It doesn't matter that their record on it is just as lousy as the Republicans'. The fact that the Dems have made this issue so prominent and the Republican party has done exactly nothing about it will make enough Republican voters stay home next year out of sheer frustration.

I think it was all a Rovian plot.

Bush and Co. had to let this play out long enough for the world, even the DEMS, For God's Sake! to wake up and finally do something about it. Now he can slam the door and start some real butt-kicking.

I volunteer to check the IDs of the idiot checkouts who can't speak English at my local Target.....followed by a few trips to Dunkin Donuts to get the Brazilians, then a quick swing by the gas pumps to get all the Ahmeds to produce something better than a fake license with a picture of Maureen O'Hara on it......

Hopefully Rick Perry and Arnold will do the same. I am not holding my breath for Perry to do it.

These actions(by richardson and napolitano) are a joke

Am I on FR? Someone actually gets it?

BTW richardson publiclly snubbed and humiliated minuteman leader chris simcox today on Hannity's show and simcox still was praising richardson, but simcox has as much venom fior Bush as cindy sheehan does.

Should tell you something.

These actions are a joke.

True, but what do you call the Republicans' lack of any action whatsoever?

Hilarity?

Hate to be the one to bust your bubble, but Bush is showing his true colors. He has no intention of doing anything about II while he is in office, and I will further predict he will not back the action of any state or local authority's action against II.

The 1.5 MM she allocated will be applied to build R&R water stops and flagged trails for insuring the illegal's comfort and ease of entry.

This dem 8itch in AZ will do naught to stem the flow, all smoke and mirrors.

Rick Perry will be the last to do anything against II. He is in Bush's back pocket.
