A crime is a crime is a crime.

I thank him for his service and sacrifice anyway, but stay home.

He committed no crime. What he did is no worse than flag burning to make a statement. He made a statement. Is not that free speech?

I thank him for his service, but what he did set a very bad example and just gave the moonbats more to whine & wail about. PMSNBC is talking about the "desecration of the cross" etc. at the protest site thanks to Larry's irresponsible actions.

I'd like to know exactly what crime he committed?

You could argue he was trespassing much like Sheehan. It depends on what the landowner thinks.

I don't know if his actions helped anyone but the people he intended to hurt by his actions aka the moonbats....

Trespassing... depending on the feelings of the landowner.

It's my understanding that the "crosses" are on Public land.

Looking at penal code here, I'm guessing that the damage would be less than $500. That puts it down to a class-C misdemeanor.

... same thing as a parking ticket...

"He committed no crime."

Incorrect.

Shame on him. Driving off road and everything. My condemnation of him will not get any stronger. It may be wrong, but, it had me cheering. Flame me. It will not even begin to compare with what I had to put up with war protesters.

In that case, the charge could be damage to public property depending on if he left deep tire ruts and destroyed vegetation bad enough.

What if they charge him with reckless driving at the same time?

Anyone collecting for his legal fees? I'd contribute.

"Trespassing... depending on the feelings of the landowner"

I was under the impression that Camp Casey is in a ditch, therefore public right-of-way. If so, where's the crime?

Probably driving too slow, if I had anything to say about it.

Reckless driving, damage to public property, driving on the shoulder of the highway

"What if they charge him with reckless driving at the same time?"

I suspect that he was in control of the vehicle at all times.
