"As Arizonans well know, the federal government's inability to control the border has been a crisis for some time,'' Flake said in a prepared statement. "We cannot afford to wait any longer.''

So we must throw open our borders, declare a shamnesty for anyone who wants to cross, and give them jobs that should be for Americans - and that will make everything all right. What fantasy world does flakey Flake live in anyway? They're not obey the laws now, they're not following current procedures, what makes Flake think they're suddenly going to follow the law after a shamnesty is in place? Heck, most of them can't even read and write in their own language how are they ever going to be able to understand or fill out the appropriate paperwork? Flake is good on so many other issues, but profoundly moronic on this one. That goes for McCain, Kolbe, Kennedy and Bush too.

There is an emergency. It is happening in every state where there is NO CONTROLLING LEGAL AUTHORITY to enforce the law or the Constitution!

(Arizona) Gov. Janet Napolitano may declare border counties a disaster area, following the lead of her New Mexico counterpart.

Napolitano press aide Jeanine L'Ecuyer said Monday the governor's staff is exploring whether an emergency could be declared based not on a natural disaster but because of the problems of crime, human smuggling and property destruction caused by people crossing the international border.

L'Ecuyer said the basic question involves reviewing the legal grounds for making such a declaration. State law permits the governor to declare an emergency in various instances, including cases of "invasions, hostile attacks, riots or insurrections.''

I don't care which party starts the freakin battle cry that has starting already here on FR. We support the MMP and their cause.

President Bush isn't running for reelection. What we are concerned about is the next REPUBLICAN to be elected and his joining of this battle cry. As long as there is a legitimate Republican candidate who carries this flag I will never vote for Hillary or any other Demon-rat because they should never ever ever ever be trusted with national security again.

We are waiting for that proof as I write this, we demand full disclosure of Able Danger and the back door politics of the 9/11 commission.

"the problems of crime, human smuggling and property destruction."

I would be for channeling all of this mayhem to Crawford, Texas to see if it finally dawned upon you-know-who that there's a huge problem in this country. Maybe having people defecate on his front yard and break into his house would bring home to him the problem everyone else seems to be able to grasp.

Perhaps having Presidente Bush, Ed Gillespie, and fellow open border buddies clean up after the human debris coming across our border would help. If Bush et al. refuse to enforce the laws and protect the border, at least they could be productive by picking up the trash.

She has seen her internal polling and knows she will lose big time in the next election. This is why she is coming out swinging now.

However, people can't be that dumb to fall for her antics. Then again, they voted for her once.
