"I notice you have nothing to say about the original subject regarding the Bible..."

I notice that your comprehension of what you notice has nothing to do with reality. LOL

I can only repeat myself

Obviously.

Sorry, Matchett, but I don't agree with your preferred Biblical "experts". Nor does that disagreement make me "emotionally immature".

I notice you have nothing to say in response. Bibilical citations were requested and provided. The discussion did not directly include you, but you jumped in. Nothing wrong with that, if you have something to contribute.

You still haven't said anything relevant to the discussion,

Trying to change the subject again, are ya?

Only trying to stick with your personal style.

You're a known liar. Everything you say can be disregarded because you've established quite clearly that you're willing to fabricate any claims you want to support your position.

"I didn't say DNA had nothing to do with evolution, I said spontaneous formation of proteins had nothing to do with evolution."

They cherry pick which portion of a post to understand and which to misinterpret.

It's unfortunate they went and changed it. It gives foreigners, like myself, a skewed vision of what the US is all about.

The Calvinism-Arminism debate can get hilarious. The senior pastor at my former church got called on the carpet by Jack Hayfert (the Grand Pooh-Bah of the Foursquare Gospel Church). His offense?

Preaching "Calvinism"! His defense? "I preached on the subject of predestination because its in the Bible!"

The longer I am a Christian, the more I become convinced that Calvin had a point (or five...).

"Apparently, all it takes to be a creationist is a willingness to make assertions without any evidence to back them up.

We live on the inside surface of a Dyson sphere. Nothing exists on the outside, and all the stars we see are nothing but search and Christmas lights. There is no proof that there is such a thing as gravity, we stay where we are because of the push of sunlight. Night is nothing but having the wool pulled over our eyes.

Particularly now when we have those coming here who have no intention of "becoming one."

Heck, I think y'all are just figments of my imagination!

If I'm going to deny reality, I might as well go for complete solipsism. :o)

"There are no errors in the Bible.

"If you are going to state that there are errors, then please provide citations.

Let's start with the easy one. The Noachian flood is a physical impossibility. The flood left no evidence of a global flood, to the contrary, only evidence of multiple relatively small local floods and many areas that show no effects of rapidly flowing water whatsoever. That sounds like an error to me.

science's inability to absolutely answer every question in the universe.

You have a profound misunderstanding of science. Science makes and has never made any such claim.

As for the Bible having all the answers...I've read enough to know enough not to waste any more of my time reading more.

Hey! I may be weird, I may even be a bit crazy, but there is no way I'm ever going to march. Not for love nor money.

I trip over my own feet too easily.:-(

When conservatives promote moral issues, the facts are on our side. Gays die sooner.

FYI, this fact needs some work.

FYI, this fact needs some work.

A quick google looks like this particular item is in dispute. Whatever.

But my original point was that conservatives have quite a bit of facts to support our political positions. And we do.

I meant the nutcases who think nothing of imposing Christianity on society at the point of a federal gun. They are no different than the Taliban or the wahhabi Islamocrazies.
