I know almost all of us have made bad choices from time to time, sometimes we do pay for that but again, even if we make the best choices, other factors come into play and things happen, Yes, poor Havoc had no control over his employer or their staffing decisions. I'm more interested in what happened after he was laid off.
Havoc said "Bush improved my life tremendously with his new policy. I went from a salaried "good job" to working two part time jobs with no benefits making less than half my salary and have no time and can barely pay my bills. Bush is a failure." Now, if you were to assign blame for the circumstance that Havoc is in, from 100% to 0%, what % do you assign to President Bush? What % do you assign to Havoc?

The affected workers, most of whom now live in Indianapolis, have been offered jobs at a variety of other DaimlerChrysler plants, he said. Freakin' A! This is a sweetheart deal. This is what the Coorporate Citizanship folks always dream of. My employer just cuts us lose a couple of times a decade.... while they are hiring outsiders at other plants.
