Hiya, nic!
Happy Friday!
Hiya Face....Friday's are the best! Hope yours is going great...is your computer all up and running now?
We live in the country, 20-25 mins. drive to the nearest bus stop, so we either help her live here, or help her live "out there". And she didn't like "out there", bless her heart! :-))
BTW, she finally got the job she was trying for, and that's to pay for the car, ins., and gas. We will help a bit, but it's mostly up to her.
The car loan will be in her name, and be her responsibility.
But I still get to make her drive her brother!
Cool, eh?
Excellent.
DH is cooking dinner, I love the new survivor, and the dogs arthritis is better.
And you?
School bus rules. If something goes wrong, to the extent that we would need straps -- straps wouldn't help.
But don't be skeert, everything will be okay, I think.
Is it nice where you are?
There are supposed to be arouras (sp) this week.
Check outside.
I've never understood that school bus rule.
If one has a seat belt on, IMO, it keeps one from flying through the windsheild. At least thats why I wear mine.
Isn't it better than nothing?
Yah...we look forward to "cutting the apron strings" but they never really are, you know.
"Letting" them drive a sibling is WAY "payback!"
Way COOL! :o]
Heh, heh, heh.

Schoolbus "straps" and "seatbelts" have NOTHING in common. The "straps" are the ones between the windows, and can only hold a "hand."
Seatbelts should be on every schoolbus. Period. And they should include a shoulder harness.
I just got home from having dinner out a little while ago and am ready to change the channel to the SciFi channel. : )
Yes, it's 8:30 here, NY.
I didn't know there were auroras....they're tonight too?
Exactly.
Thanks.
I think I'd like to redesign schoolbuses too, but not right now.
We will provide straps for takeoff, if you can figure out what you want to fasten yourself to!
Even in Arizona, we get an occasional aurora. However, I still remember a lot of them from Northern Utah (AND Alaska.)
Alaska is best if you want to "hear" them, too! :o]
I would expect there still might be some tonight. I'm probably wrong though, so don't go by me.
It's raining here, eastern Ontario, so I can't look.
I haven't seen a good one since I was a kid.
:-)
I want to be fastened to whatever is taking off....but not necessarily a racecar...;o]
That's where I've seen pictures of aurora's...in Alaska...those are amazing!!
Not going to see any here tonight; just went outside and checked...all clouds...rain clouds. : (
ME TOO! :o]
