He wasn't a victim. He was a soldier.

I hate it when MSM portrays soldiers as victims rather than heroes they are.

"I know she's a grieving mom and she has a lot of issues with anger," Cindy is angry with Casey, not the President.

It's a misleading title,and as a veteran I find "victim" offensive.
This is what passes for objectivity in Vacaville, apparently.
Krause's comments about President Bush were worth posting,IMO.

Why don't they send her over to Iraq on a special mission to capture her son's assassins. If she doesn't hug and kiss them to death first, that is.

The article's fine. It's the headline editor that needs a typewriter upside the head.

You some sort of psychologist?!
That's a very good observation.

Cindy is angry with Casey, not the President. Quite. She hates the war because she hates the President. She hates her son because he defied her will.

Right on! I've been saying this very thing the last few days. Casey made a decision in his life and it didn't fit with her political views. No she can only live with the anger and blame Bush.

Maybe he went in the military to get the hell away from her....... Actually... there's a brother or brother-in-law that says something exactly to that effect. She was something of a control freak and he did in fact join up (and re-up) to try to cut away at the apron strings.

And when she is no longer of any use to her "handlers",they'll dump her.
Then she will truly be alone and all that will be left for her is a rubber room.

I believe the sound you're hearing is that of a nailhead being struck. I think you are spot on in this observation.
