"One important aim of the NBRA is to empower the people by championing opportunity scholarships for black children and helping black Americans move into our Ownership Society. With the help of our supporters, the NBRA will change the political landscape, for the sake of our future generations." This is a great move, because blacks have been getting screwed by the 'Rats for over seventy years.

If the Republicans can get 15% of the black vote that would devastate the dimocRATS. I think it is entirely possible and I applaud the effort. Go GWB.

New black GOP group birthed That's good, because as a white guy, I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' no black GOP groups.
(Sorry about that, but whoever wrote that headline for WND should have seen the obligatory Butterfly McQueen reference coming a mile away.)

I was thinking the same thing about the "birthed" word, but the moderators get upset if you change the title, so I left it the way it was.

The NBRA also will identify black Republicans as potential candidates and will financially support those who run for office. The best news in the entire article.

That is so true.
If we could get 40% of the blacks to vote Republicans that is a good thing.
Since blacks are not monolithic, this is what I foresee/hope for:
40% Democrats.
40% Republicans
20% Other parties
Those are the percentages that I foresee/hope for of the voting black vote block, which I estimate to 50% of those eligible to vote.

Hopefully non-blacks will support their own candidates too.

If 40% (and it would probably only take 25-30%) of blacks began to consistently vote Republican, the 'Rats would be history. Many blacks (especially older middle class women) are outraged at the left's homosexual, anti-family agenda.

And right you are.
All of us, as a collective, need to win them over to our camp. We need them votes to defeat the leftovers at the other camp.

If we could get 40% of the blacks to vote Republicans that is a good thing. Some have said (at least I heard it during the campaign) that even if only 20% of blacks voted Republican, the Democrats would never again win another election. (I presume they meant general/presidential)
As for the prospects of that happening, well...whoever thought it would get where it was in 2004?

True. As is equally true that if the Republican party loses 2% of the white vote, it will never win another election. That 2% makes it a 4% gap.

70 years ? The 'Rats and their antecedents have been either enslaving, butchering, lynching or screwing Blacks since 1776.
