I do not listen as much to Rush, but I would have liked to have heard this discussion.

Data-Mining: Looks like the FBI needed some instructions on how to use Google, or the "search box" at Freerepublic.

Rush has been on top of this. But the Clinton administration did not only not "want to deal with terror", it took affirmative steps to prevent Defense and intelligence agencies from dealing with it.

This whole 9/11 Commission was a farce, designed to absolve Clinton and blame Bush.
Watching Bob Kerrey and Jamie Gorelick tee off on Condi Rice was disgusting.

Data-Mining: Looks like the FBI needed some instructions on how to use Google, or the "search box" at Freerepublic. Actually, data mining is a non-trivial and sometimes useful procedure.

It probably goes alot deeper than this.
I completely believe the "WALL" was put in place to protect the klintoons and DNC from illegal sales to Communist China and donations to the '96 presidential campaign.

Clearly Clinton did not want to deal with terrorism. He didn't want to admit that it could occur here. Look at his reaction to the Oklahoma City bombing and TWA800.

the Clinton administration did not only not "want to deal with terror", it took affirmative steps to prevent Defense and intelligence agencies from dealing with it. If the Clinton administration had worked as hard at trying prevent terrorism as they have at trying to cover up their tracks on all this then America would have never had a 9/11.

The former Oklahoma Governor (I forget his name) was interviewed on a FOX investigative report a while back. He says that Bill Clinton TOLD him that it could not be islamic terrorism.
I haven't read Richard Clarkes book but I heard a reviewer say that Clarke wrote that he had some suspicion that Iraq was involved in the OKC bombing.
Louis Freeh has criticized Clinton for chasing imaginary redneck terrorists and not taking islamic terrorism seriously enough.

Bingo!! That's exactly why it was put in place.

I don't think this country can afford any more Clinton Administrations.

But the Clinton administration did not only not "want to deal with terror", it took affirmative steps to prevent Defense and intelligence agencies from dealing with it. Well, perhaps the 'toons, had to do it, otherwise...with their history, of "Chinese Donations" ...their "Legacy" would have been even worse.

Keep stroking those notes out on the pork saxophone, Bill - it's not sex and there are no consequences for your acts. Consequences are only there for adults.

If the TV networks and newspapers reported this in the manner it deserved, then the people who are responsible for these disastrous events would be held accountable and punished.
Time will tell. Who in our Party will step up and force our government to honestly investigate itself?
Whoever set up the 9/11 Commission is an accessory to a cover-up.
The Commission report determined that the cause of 9/11 was an intelligence failure. We now see that it wasn't.
If there isn't a major shake-up in Congress over this, I'll assume that both political parties are in collusion.
