I'm having a hard time working up an outrage about this, and an equally hard time repressing my envy.

But I'm curious about women's attitude if the situation were reversed. What would their reaction be to hearing that a male teacher had seduced a 13 year old girl?

As a man, I would would find this much more reprehensible.

Am I being chauvenistic, or is treating these two cases the same another case of PC?

SHOW ME the MALE teacher raping a 13 year girl that gets only 9 months in jail...more like 9 years and he would deserve every day. So does she. Having double standards like this is one of the things that keeps (some) men from taking women seriously on equality issues. You want equal treatment, accept equal responsibility.

Let's see power and manipulation are the 2 key characteristics of this behavior. I personally have never had the desire to have power over a 13 year old brat, who probably hasn't learned how to wipe his but yet. As for manipulation, if you have to manipulate someone male or female........you have some serious emotional problems no matter how hot you are. I personally prefer men who know who they are........
