"We regret that many people have misconstrued our recent advertisement about Mr. Roberts' record," Pure comedy. LOL!

They got caught lying--oh, so sad!
To: Sub-Driver
And still they don't apologize.
"Sorry if you 'misconstrued' it..."
I used to apologize to my little brother like that - "I'm sorry you're such an idiot."

I believe they've just opened themselves further to a libel or slander suit?
To: Sub-Driver
Misconstrued? What utter fools. Damned Utopians are absolutely bereft of moral values or even a smattering of intelligence.

"...and his arguments against using a federal civil rights law to protect women and their doctors and nurses from those who use blockades and intimidation."
So they think they're gonna get somewhere by attacking Judge Roberts for saying the Ku Klux Klan act shouldn't apply to abortion protesters? Anyone want to bet on whether they'll actually refer to the name of that act?

We misconstrued it? What did they mean to say, I wonder?
To: Sub-Driver
Gotta love those libs. They were counting on Specter and managed to anger even him.

Now how can you determine it's misleading at best if it's false? If there's truth to what it says, it's not false, but there wasn't. They twisted what he REALLY did, deliberately, to make him look bad.
Getting desperate are they?

Not sorry for the ad, only that it was "misconstrued". Typical
To: mvpel
I agree. I am sick of these 'I apologize for your ignorance' apologies. They lied. They should apologize for lying, for slandering a man's reputation, for attempting to mislead the people to prevent a well-qualified judge from being appointed to the Supreme Court, for undermining the Constitutional Process, and for being pro-abortion.

misconstrued our recent advertisement Nothing to misconstrue.
I'm going to miss the ad.
I thought it was a great window for the average person to see whacky leftists. The Ad was far more damaging to the democrats than it was to Roberts.
